Yoga has played a crucial role in my own recovery and has been a tremendous help on the path to healing my relationship with my body. Yoga was the first physical activity I did from a place of love rather than hate. This was a huge driving factor to me becoming a Yoga Instructor, so I could spread that amazing feeling I experienced to others.

I have known since I completed my teacher training that I wanted to use my passion for yoga to help others, specifically those struggling with ED's, disordered eating and negative body image. When I found Eat Breathe Thrive, I immediately felt aligned with their mission/cause and have been a volunteer since.

In August I completed their online Immersion course in which I gained valuable insight into the ways Yoga & Mindfulness can support Eating Disorder Prevention & Recovery (and also how it can have a negative impact) as well as tools to create a safe environment for students who may be struggling.

I am excited to continue to support & help spread awareness about this amazing non-profit and to use the knowledge I have gained to help others.
